Grain Sorghum Early Planting

We invest heavily into creating more quality data for our growers to take to paddock. 

Every season the Pioneer® Research Team plant a cool tolerance grain sorghum trial at our Wyreema Qld Research Facility. The trial is planted late winter with advanced small population planting equipment and technology, to give us the best opportunity to plant consistent trials and get consistent data. 

We know our growers like to plant as early as possible, maximising water that is available. We also know it carries risks, so by running a cool tolerance trial like this, we gain a greater understand on which products perform well when put in the ground during early conditions.
