This exclusive event is designed for dairy professionals and farmers looking to explore modern infrastructure, connect with industry leaders, and gain practical insights into high-performing operations.
Day 1
We’ll depart from the Melbourne Convention Centre and journey into the heart of Northern Victoria’s dairy region. Along the way, we’ll visit several leading barn systems, where you’ll have the opportunity to tour the facilities, hear directly from the owners, and learn why they transitioned to indoor systems and how it’s transformed their operations.
The day concludes with a relaxing dinner and drinks aboard the MV Mary Ann, cruising the scenic Murray River. You’ll then unwind in comfort at the Quest Echuca Apartment Hotel.
Day 2
Our second day begins with a visit to one of Pioneer Seeds’ industry-leading STRIKE (Seed Technology Research In Key Environments) trial sites. Here, you’ll see the latest hybrid developments, meet members of our Research Team, and get a close-up look at our specialised Research equipment.
We’ll then head to Nathan Shannon’s Goulburn Valley farm, where over 1,000 cows are milked in state-of-the-art, sand-bed freestall barns. You’ll also hear from Scott McDonald, Agriculture Victoria’s Dairy Development Specialist and the Program Manager of Nathan’s farm, who will share expert insights into the key considerations for investing in shed infrastructure.

NUMBERS ARE LIMITED AND REGISTRATION PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO DAIRY FARMERS AND DAIRY INDUSTRY REPRESENTATIVES. GenTech Seeds Pty Ltd (GENTECH) reserves the right to decline registration of any individual.
PRE-TOUR REGISTRATION covers coach costs, all meals (including the dinner cruise) and accommodation. Credit card details will be required when checking-in. All non-conference related charges i.e., phone calls, mini-bar, house bar and other hotel services billed to your room are to be settled directly with the hotel prior to your departure. A cash bar will operate on the dinner cruise.
PAYMENT: To secure your position, full payment will be due within 7 days of receipt of pre-tour invoice.
CANCELLATION: Due to the considerable costs associated with this tour, a cancellation fee equivalent to 25% of the registration cost will be charged for cancellations before 10 January 2026. After 10 January 2026 the cancellation fee is equal to 100% of the full registration amount.
