With an explosive growth in intensive and non-pasture-based feed systems in the last 15 years, many are considering and introducing high quality maize silage into more intensive feed systems.

Pioneer Seeds is proud to announce the appointment of two new Dairy Specialists and two new Territory Sales Managers in key dairy farming regions to support the growing adoption of maize silage in advanced dairy farming systems.

Dairy farmers in the southern dairy farming region who are considering the benefits of maize silage in their system can speak with the Dairy Specialists regarding integrating maize silage into their operations, providing technical advice on farm system changes, and maximising profitability through effective maize silage management.

Joining the team as the Dairy Specialist for Gippsland and Tasmania is Greg Morris. Greg brings extensive experience in the dairy sector to the role, having spent the last 18 years in various farm management and technical roles. Leighton Hart has also joined the team as the Dairy Specialist for south-west Victoria and south-east South Australia. Leighton's comprehensive knowledge of the feed and dairy industries and his passion for building profitable dairy systems will bring a range of benefits to growers in the region.

Greg and Leighton’s support of farmers in the region will be complemented by Adam “Arch” Archibald, Territory Sales Manager for Gippsland and Tasmania, and Tess Blake, Territory Sales Manager for south-west Victoria and south-east South Australia.
